Saw this good example of what a Fingerprint Fabrication/Forgery looks like from ‘The Bourne Supremacy‘ if you were unsure what one looked like.

So “Spoiler Alert” for anyone who hasn’t seen this awesome movie but a quick synopsis behind this scene is that it’s based in Berlin and CIA agents subordinate to Deputy Director Pamela Landy are paying US$3 million for the “Neski files”, documents on the theft of $20 million in allocation money seven years prior. Kirill, an agent for Russia’s Federal Security Service, plants Jason Bourne’s fingerprint to frame him, kills the agents, and steals the files and money for delivery to Russian oil oligarch Yuri Gretkov.

Not sure exactly if the transferred print has been powdered or not based on the camera angle and the light hitting it but you get the gist of what it looks like.

Also whether or not if its a true Fabrication or Forgery since it could be argued that the Russian spy was working with a Government Official which would represent a fabrication. The planting of an innocent persons fingerprint, in this case Jason Bourne, would represent a forgery so it’s hard to know which side of the fence this case directly lies on.
